This is from the October 2007 World Report.The Church, in its efforts to help all come unto Christ, have introduced several new materials. The 9th book in the Teachings of the Presidents of the Church will focus on the Prophet Joseph Smith. The book includes over 140 photographs, paintings and illustrations--some of which have never been published before.The manual will be published in 29 languages and will be studied in 2008 and 2009. Triple combinations of the scriptures in Cambodian and Haitian and updated editions in Tongan and traditional Chinese characters were published earlier this year. Text and audio recordings of the scriptures have been made available online at http://scriptures.lds.org.Editorial and design work have been completed on a unique edition of the Church's Ensign and Liahona magazines, focused entirely on the Savior. This special issue will contain messages from Church leaders and members from around the world. It is scheduled for March 2008 in 51 languages. Request a copy at http://specialmagazine.lds.org
